Energy Interactive Fitness Espresso Training

On July 13, 2011 Cafes by Performance added Energy Interactive Fitness, St. James, NY to their list of newly opened cafes.

Owner, Trevor Tucci and Debbie Dolan, Director of Specialty Coffee at Performance Food Center spent the day pulling the perfect shot of espresso.

All the coffees at Energy Interactive Fitness are organically grown, certified fair trade and roasted to order by Performance Food Center’s micro roaster located in Lancaster, Pa.

Learning the art and craft of espresso extraction and building signature lattes and cappuccinos was the focus of the day.  Much attention to detail and technique were reviewed and mastered as Trevor prepared for the Grand Opening.

Energy Interactive Fitness knows the value of offering coffee at their Juice Bar.  Members will quickly realize that jump starting their workout with a cup of perfectly brewed coffee can make the body ignore fatigue which can prolong their workout.  Coffee can also release stored fats to be used as fuel to energize their routine.  All this can equate to better results.

Offering a full coffee and espresso bar menu at Energy Interactive Fitness means members can save time in their busy early morning routine by waking up with a great cup of “joe”, working out with increase stamina and then heading out the door with a latte to take along their way.
